More than 50 Bahrainis participated in artistic and production roles.
The production aimed to strengthen Bahrain’s position as a destination for Gulf, Arab and international productions.
The production team behind the drama series ‘Bait Hiddam’ has completed 49 days of filming at various locations across Bahrain, paving the way for its upcoming release on the Shasha platform.

The series brought together more than 50 Bahraini talents across different artistic and production departments, both in front of and behind the camera. For several local participants, the project marked their first opportunity to work on a drama production of this scale.
Directed by Saeed Al Marouq, the series involved professionals from more than 20 nationalities, providing Bahraini talents with an opportunity to work alongside Arab and international industry experts.
‘Bait Hiddam’ was produced by Level Seven Pictures in collaboration with The Creator Space, founded by Bahraini producer Jasim Bohajji and Tunisian producer Khalid Bin Younes. The project marks the first production experience in Bahrain for both companies.
The series features Gulf and Arab drama stars, including Ali Kakooli, Layla Abdullah, Abdul-Mohsen Al-Nimer, Basma Hamada, and Hussain Al-Haddad, alongside other artists.
Bohaji and Ben Younes said the involvement of Bahraini talents was a central element of the production, stressing that the aim was not simply to film a series in Bahrain but to create an experience through which local professionals could gain practical experience on a major production.
They said the participation of more than 50 Bahrainis alongside professionals from over 20 nationalities reflected the project's goal of creating opportunities for local talent and strengthening cooperation within the production sector.

Director Saeed Al-Marouq praised the filming experience in Bahrain, highlighting the variety of locations available and the cooperation provided throughout the production period.
He also praised the commitment and enthusiasm of Bahraini talents involved in the project, expressing hope that the experience would lead to further productions in the Kingdom.
The production team also expressed appreciation for the cooperation and facilities provided by the Ministry of Information, the Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior, government and private entities, as well as organizations, locations and individuals who supported the filming process.
Alongside the production of ‘Bait Hiddam’, The Creator Space launched the hashtag #Bahrain_Loves_Cinema to highlight Bahrain’s capabilities in film and television production and encourage more Gulf, Arab and international productions to choose the Kingdom as a filming destination.
Bohajji and Bin-Younes said the initiative was inspired by their experience during the production, which included the availability of local talent, diverse filming locations, relatively short distances between locations and cooperation among different parties.
They said they hope #Bahrain_Loves_Cinema will extend beyond the series and help promote Bahrain's potential as a production hub while creating further opportunities for local professionals.
The producers intend to build on the ‘Bait Hiddam’ experience through future projects and partnerships aimed at attracting more productions to Bahrain and expanding Bahraini talent participation in the film and television sector.
