Janmashtami, an annual celebration of the birth of the Hindu deity Krishna, was celebrated at the Indian School Ground in Isa Town. The programme was organised by various expat organisations in Bahrain, including the Thattai Hindu Community, Art of Living, Mata Amruthanandamayi Seva Samiti, Iskon Bahrain and Bahrain Chinmaya Society.
