Islamic alliance reflects Bahrain’s anti-terror policy: Shaikh Khalid

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the joining of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Saudi-led Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism embodies His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s policy in exerting every effort to safeguard security of the

nations.

“It shows the unwavering position of Bahrain that rejects terrorism as well as its cooperation with any effort to eradicate terrorism. Shaikh Khalid stressed that the new military alliance was a strategic step in the fight against terrorism.

He said that the formation of the alliance was a continuation of the efforts of Saudi Arabia on both regional and international levels. Meanwhile, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh stressed Bahrain’s unwavering rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism as well as support to regional and international efforts to root out terror and its proponents.
