Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attended a ceremony marking the International Anti-corruption Day on December 13, 2016. The Minister honoured the winners and the sponsors of the Anti-corruption campaign. The event was attended by other officials including Minister of Education Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi and Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi.
