Building on its region-wide success since its launch in June earlier this year, the Infiniti Q70 sedan has been named ‘Best Executive Midsize Sedan’ at the Middle East Car of the Year (MECOTY) Awards, held on October 29 at the exclusive Raffles Hotel in Dubai.

With a fresh new exterior, the latest evolution of the Infiniti Q70 takes the emotion-packed character of the performance sedan up another level. The new 2016 Infiniti Q70 continues to deliver evocative design, invigorating performance, innovative technology and superior craftsmanship.

Managing Director of Infiniti Middle East, Juergen Schmitz, said, “As one of the fastest growing premium brands in the region, the recent launch of the Infiniti Q70 has already started to contribute strongly with a growth of 225 per cent (June – Sept) compared to the same period last year. Being awarded ‘Best Executive Midsize Sedan’ is further testament to the superior level of premium motoring the Q70 offers customers in this segment.”

Currently in its second edition, the MECOTY integrates a complex yet transparent nomination and scoring methodology, which is developed, tested and implemented by the most experienced ‘motoring minds’ of the industry.
