Indian jailed for filming Indian couple undressing

An Indian shop-worker was convicted for video filming, on his mobile phone, a couple undressing in their bedroom.

He was sentenced to three months in jail.

The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance also ordered AH, 22, to be deported after serving his jail term.

At around 11.50pm on November 15, AA, 29 Indian and his wife KA, 24, spotted the camera of the mobile phone from a gap between the open window and the curtain.

“I got out to the balcony and caught AH, 22, hiding behind the glass that was covered with the curtain.

“I caught him and took the mobile phone and on searching it I found four pictures of me and my wife.

“In one I was naked and in another one my wife was in her underwear,” said the victim.

The victim called the police who came and arrested AH.

The accused confessed to charges of sexual assault and violating privacy.

Records did not mention whether the accused was their flat-mate or how he got onto the balcony.
