The Indian Club successfully organized a special event to celebrate International Yoga Day at its premises on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The evening session, which ran from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, drew a large crowd of club members, their families, and guests.

Aligning with this year's global theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," organizers urged participants to look beyond the single-day event and integrate yoga into their daily lives for lifelong physical and mental well-being.

The session was conducted by Dr. Narpal Singh, the official yoga teacher deputed to Bahrain by the Indian Embassy. Dr. Singh guided the multigenerational gathering through specialized postures and breathing exercises tailored to promote flexibility, longevity, and holistic health.

The Indian Club executive committee extended its sincere gratitude to the Indian Embassy, club members, and all guests for making the community event a grand success.
