HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has visited the sports exhibition of the retired World Cup referee Ibrahim Al Doy.

Accompanying His Highness were HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the Authority.

Upon his arrival at the exhibition, His Highness was received by Al Doy, retired World Cup referee Jassim Mandi, former international player Ibrahim Zuwaid, and veteran media professionals Mohammed Lauri and Nasser Mohammed.

His Highness expressed his great pride in the sporting legacy of Aldoy’s exhibition which showcases his successful career and his contributions to sports in the Kingdom as he was the first referee from Bahrain and the GCC region to officiate in the 1982 World Cup which took place in Spain.
