David Goffin shocked world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 in the second round of the Miami Open on Friday, breaking the Spaniard’s momentum in each set. Goffin clinched the win on his second match point, with Alcaraz unable to return a powerful forehand into the corner.

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic made a successful return to Miami, equaling Rafa Nadal’s record for most ATP Masters 1000 match wins. Russian teen Mirra Andreeva also advanced as she continued her push for the 'Sunshine Double'.
