EWA Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza inaugurated a 66 Kilovolt station in Hajjiyat, in the presence of Electricity and Water Authority Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa. A 220 KV substation was also opened as part of Bahrain International Airport station. A 66 KV electrical substation also became operational as part of the airport western plant.
