One of the oldest and prominent expat associations here, The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) has revealed their plans to strongly back the kingdom’s vaccination drive against COVID 19.

“BKS has around 2000 registered members and adding their family members, we become a very sizeable group. We have immediate plans to educate our members and families about the vaccine and the need to join hands with the authorities in their mission to combat the global pandemic,” said BKS president P V Radhakrishna Pillai.

“As an association which has enjoyed the generous patronage of various ministries and authorities in the kingdom, it is our duty and responsibility to extend our wholehearted support towards the fight against the pandemic. We take it as a mission to push all our members and families to get vaccinated against the virus at the earliest possible,” added general secretary Varghese Karakkal.
