Forty-six-year-old Bahraini Salah Cartoonz is a renowned artist who can sketch the face of a person in three minutes.
He is focusing on face features and graffiti lettering, with a colourful outlook, which has high demand from locals.
Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Salah said: “I carry on sketching as a hobby which makes people around me happy, until my early retirement from training industry to become full-time cartoonist.”
In Bahrain, Salah has participated in several festivals and exhibitions, including comic cons. Recently, he has been participating in Comic Con Middle East in Abu Dhabi, and these days he is getting ready for another massive event in June.
“My message to all Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan is to appreciate God’s blessings and be closer to those who love and care for you, and it’s the perfect time to give back to society through charity work and prayers,” Salah said.
