Record-Breaking Performance in 50m Breaststroke

Bahraini swimmer Saoud Ghali continues to shine in the Hungarian Championships, setting a new national record in the 50m breaststroke with a time of 29.21 seconds. His achievement reflects the success of Bahrain’s “Champion-Making” program, a strategic initiative launched by the Bahrain Olympic Committee to elevate local athletes through international training and competition.

“Champion-Making” Program: Developing Elite Athletes

Ghali’s training in Hungary is part of a larger vision led by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. This program, which provides athletes with the opportunity to study and train abroad, aims to cultivate sporting excellence and place Bahrain’s athletes among the elite in their fields.

A Promising Future for Bahraini Swimming

Ghali’s record-breaking time highlights the promising trajectory of Bahraini athletes under the “Champion-Making” program.
