Finance and National Economy Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, expressed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen its cooperation and coordination with various countries.

He said this will contribute to supporting priority economic sectors and achieving sustainable development goals, commensurate with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Salman made the statements while meeting officials from major international companies and financial institutions, in the presence of HE Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and other officials.

The meetings were held by the kingdom’s delegation, led by Minister of Finance and National Economy, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

Shaikh Salman highlighted the significance of these meetings in exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation, especially in the financial and banking fields, noting that Bahrain enjoys a stimulating environment for investment and entrepreneurship. The meetings focused on ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination, in addition to the latest global economic developments.
