The Investiture Ceremony of Bahrain Indian School (BIS) for the academic session 2018-2019 was held to assign responsibilities to the newly elected office bearers. The function was presided over by BIS Principal Saji Jacob in the presence of BIS Director Ritu Verma.

‘The Investiture Ceremony sets the right tone for an academic year during which the young leaders not only learn to guide other students but also create models in leadership for others to emulate, reinstating the faith in the calibre and leadership of the future generation’, said Principal Saji Jacob.

The newly elected students were conferred badges and sashes by the Director, Principal and Coordinator of the school. The Head Boy – Steve Chalil Biju and Head Girl – Amruta Phadke delivered speech, thanking the audience and conferred that they will fulfil the responsibilities as assigned to them.

Physical Education Teacher Hemanth administered the oath of office. Students pledged to serve the school and fulfil their duties to the best of their abilities. The Student Council also promised to take the school to new heights and resplendence.

The school management congratulated the children on getting elected for the leading roles and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.
