Bahrain condemns terrorist bombing in Afghanistan

Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the terrorist bombing that targeted the Green Village compound in Kabul and resulted in the death of dozens and the injury of more than 100 people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery from this heinous terrorist act that aimed to undermine security and peace and which is contrary to all religious, moral and humanitarian principles.

The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Afghanistan against all forms of violence and terrorism and supported it in all its efforts exerted to achieve stability. The ministry also stressed the Kingdom’s unequivocal position against violence, extremism and terrorism in all their forms. It called for intensifying international co-operation to combat terrorism and all those supporting and funding it.
