The Indian Embassy of Bahrain hosted its 10th annual Yoga Day session at Khalifa Sport City in celebration of International Yoga Day.

Over a hundred participants, including Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, His Excellency Vinod K. Jacob, gathered for the event.

Ambassador Jacob highlighted the theme of this year’s celebration, stating, “This year’s theme reflects the co-relationship between health, peace, harmony, and group activities.

This initiative will help to bolster the relationship among the community, including our Bahraini friends.” told the Daily Tribune.

The Ambassador’s message underscored the importance of yoga not only for individual well-being but also for fostering connections within the community.

Rudresh Kumar Singh, a yoga teacher at the Indian Embassy, echoed this sentiment, remarking on the “enthusiasm among the community to participate in this event.”

The event itself served as a testament to the growing popularity of yoga in Bahrain and the positive impact it has on fostering a sense of community and cultural exchange.
