Washington DC: The U.S. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has issued a high-level security alert and travel advisory following credible reports of potential Iranian aerial threats targeting the region.

The advisory urges U.S. citizens currently in the UAE to maintain a high state of vigilance and stay informed of local security developments as tensions escalate.

The warning comes after a series of missile and drone attacks targeted civilian infrastructure within the Emirates, prompting a swift reaction from international security agencies. U.S. officials have advised personnel and citizens to identify safe locations, monitor local media, and follow the instructions of Emirati authorities.

While the UAE remains a major global hub for travel and business, the U.S. State Department has raised the threat profile to ensure the safety of its nationals.

Security experts suggest the move is a precautionary measure to mitigate risks associated with regional instability and potential further provocations. Non-essential travel to certain areas may be restricted as forces remain on high alert.
