This transparent inflatable tent lets you sleep underneath the stars

How many times have you decided to go camping only to later deeply regret the decision? As you lay in your tent, tossing and turning on your blow-up mattress, you can’t help but dream about your comfortable bed at home, where the route to the toilet doesn’t involve the possibility of becoming a late snack for a hungry reptile.

If you can relate to this struggle, then let us introduce you to this transparent bubble tent. It guarantees 360 degrees of sightseeing and is perfect for stargazing. Because let’s get one thing straight, if we’re going to forfeit our cosy bedroom (and risk our lives) in the great outdoors, we might as well fall asleep searching for the Big Dipper.

Made with PVC and PVC tarpaulin material, the bubble tent is waterproof and fire-retardant. It has enough space to sleep two people and is inflatable so it’s easy to set up and take down.

The bubble tent will set you back $US2000 ($2800) and half-transparent options are also available for the more modest camper. The various designs include a beach-friendly bubble you can pitch right next to the water, and tree-suspended versions that wrap around trunks and hover over the ground.
