Moscow Russia’s economic growth slowed to 1.4 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, the lowest quarterly figure in two years, data from the official state statistics agency showed Friday.

The Russian economy grew by 1.4 percent in the first three months of the year, compared with a 4.5 percent expansion in the previous quarter, Rosstat data showed. Inflation in April remained above 10 percent, figures showed.
