New recycling plant for Bahrain

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa suggested the importance of introducing latest technologies for recycling waste and production of energy, similar to advanced countries.

He directed the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry to complete the case studies to establish a waste recycling plant and to proceed with this key project to benefit from new technologies.

This came in light of constant follow up by HRH Prince Khalifa to limit the accumulation of garbage in the Southern and Northern Governorates.

He advised implementing this project for the protection of public health and environmental conservation.
