NBB initiates summer internships programme “Evolve”

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) launched its Evolve Programme, initially partnering with select schools to offer summer internships to school students. NBB kick-started the Evolve Programme by partnering with Ibn Khuldoon National School, the Bahrain Bayan School, the British School of Bahrain and Al Naseem International School to provide 23 students with the opportunity to further explore the industry and train in different fields.

During the selection process, schools are expected to nominate high-calibre students who will later go on to receive onthe-job and theoretical training from the Bank’s Training and Development team, as well as various training facilities such as the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF), Bahrain FinTech Bay and the Paramedics Academy.
