Manama : Lawyers will submit their closing arguments on October 5 in the trial of a Bangladeshi man suspected of murdering a fellow countryman in Riffa. The 44-year-old Bangladeshi man was killed following an argument between them.

The 30-year-old accused told prosecutors that he had paid BD1,200 to the victim to come to Bahrain as an electrical technician. But he was employed in a construction company, where was working for 15 hours daily. The mother of the defendant is also working in Bahrain as a maid. “He threatened me that he would tell my father that my mother was involved in prostitution,” the accused stated.

The duo were living in the same room. The defendant told prosecutors that he was attacked by the victim with a plank. In retaliation, the defendant stabbed him with a knife.
