His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (5) of 2024, by issuing the General Framework of Educational and Vocational Training Institutions Overall Performance Audit, based on a proposal by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), following the approval of the Cabinet.

According to the edict, under Article (I), the Directorate of Vocational Reviews (DVR) of BQA shall implement the General Framework of Educational and Vocational Training Institutions’ Overall Performance Audit attached to this edict.

Under Article (II), the General Framework of Educational and Vocational Training Institutions Overall Performance Audit, issued by Decree (38) of 2018 shall be repealed. The edict and its attached General Framework will be published in the Official Gazette and will become effective on March 1.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (4) of 2024, issuing the general outline for the Schools Reviews Framework, based on a proposal by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BQA, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Under Article (I), the general outline for the Schools Reviews Framework attached to this edict shall be implemented. Under Article (II), the Schools Overall Performance General Audit Frame issued by Edict (37) of 2018 shall be repealed. Under Article (III), this edict and the general outline attached to it will be published in the Official Gazette and will be effective as of March 1, 2024.
