HR and Financial Directors moved to Finance Ministry

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (17) of 2025 on transferring human resources and financial directors from all ministries in the Kingdom to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.

The decision was based on the Minister of Finance and National Economy’s proposal and following the Cabinet’s approval.

The individuals shall be transferred from government entities to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to assume the position of Director of Human Resources and Finance under the Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Financial Service.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy shall assign the directors mentioned in Article (l) to oversee human resources and financial management in any government entity in the Kingdom.

They shall be subject to the regulations governing shared financial services employees, provided these do not conflict with the nature of human resources functions.
