HM the King pardons inmates

Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued a Royal Decree, pardoning and releasing 93 inmates who have served part of their jail terms.

The royal decree was issued marking the Kingdom's celebrations of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 45th anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 17th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.

The kind royal gesture reflects HM the King’s keenness on providing the pardoned inmates with an opportunity to integrate society anew and participate in the nation's development and progress.
