His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reaffirmed the role of education in combatting all forms of extremism that oppose peace.
He also reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to peace and fostering strong relations with neighbouring countries, as highlighted in the recent Arab summit.
HM the King was speaking as he received senior members of the royal family, officials, citizens, and top-performing students from different educational levels yesterday at Sakhir Palace.
His Majesty emphasised Bahrain’s steadfast stance against escalation and incitement, calling for respect for human and religious values, and maintaining regional stability.
He voiced concern over the devastating impact of wars and unjustified conflicts in various countries, urging their leaders to reassess their positions and prioritise the well-being of their people.
HM the King said that focus must be on the provision of essential services, such as healthcare, education, housing, and employment, to ensure a dignified life for all citizens.
He concluded by praying for peace and security worldwide and expressed appreciation for the unity and loyalty of the Bahraini people in safeguarding the nation’s stability
