Dubai : Fire crews rushed to tackle a blaze at an under-construction high-rise in Dubai Marina early Wednesday morning, prompting a swift emergency response in the area.

Police and Civil Defence teams were deployed to the site of The Residences at Al Habtoor Grand, near the waterfront, after the fire was reported at around 7:30am. Thick smoke was seen rising across the marina, drawing attention from nearby residents and commuters.

The tower, a 50-storey building located close to the harbour and just a short distance from a Civil Defence station, is still under construction and is expected to be completed in March 2027.

Emergency services worked to contain the blaze, though officials have yet to release details on the cause of the fire or whether there were any injuries. Authorities are expected to provide further updates as investigations continue.
