Expat's mother dies in Bahrain

Bahrain Flour Mill IT Manager and YMCA Bahrain chapter General Secretary Jiju Verghese Oommen's mother Chiramel Puthenpurackal Saramma Oommen (79)passed away in Bahrain SMC hospital yesterday. She is the wife of late P.T Oommen.

She was in Bahrain with her son Jiju Verghese Oommen for the last two years. She served in Nagpur Railway Hospital. Her eldest son Saju Oommen is working in Oman and her daughter Mini Oommen is in Texas, U.S.

Prayer service will be held at NEC on Tuesday at 1 pm. Body will depart to Cochin on Tuesday evening. Funeral will take place in Thalavady Marthoma Church in Alappuzha on Wednesday.
