Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, on Tuesday received Egypt’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic and investment fields.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of Bahraini-Egyptian relations and explored ways to expand coordination between the two countries across key sectors of mutual interest.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa underscored the “advanced level” of relations between Bahrain and Egypt, describing them as a strategic partnership supported by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

He also highlighted the ongoing efforts of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to further deepen cooperation and broaden its scope, building on existing agreements and memoranda of understanding.
