Al Ahli outclassed Samaheej 31-21 last night in their week five contest of the 2022/2023 Khalid bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League. Ahli led 16-9 at the half and never wavered en route to the final whistle.

Ahli claimed their third win to go with one draw with the result, while Samaheej dropped their fourth contest in five tries. Meanwhile, defending champions Al Najma powered to a well-deserved 30-22 victory over Tubli.

The victors held a narrow 13-11 advantage at the break, but did well to stretch their lead over the final 30 minutes. Najma claimed their league-leading fifth straight win, while staying undefeated, with the result.

Tubli, on the other hand, suffered their fifth successive defeat and remained winless. League action continues tonight with Al Ettihad taking on Al Tadhamon in the lone fixture of the evening at 7pm.
