In reply toWhat does an EWA connection actually cost for a new-build villa in Saar?Ask for the EWA receipt separately. The deposit is fixed by tariff band and the meter installation has a published rate, so anything above those two lines is the contractor's. I paid mine in March and the split was clear once I asked in writing.
