The UAE Ministry of Defence on Monday announced the deaths of two military personnel during a training exercise in the country.
The ministry identified the deceased as Major Abdullah Shams Al Menhali and Cadet Saeed Abdullah Al Shamsi, who died while taking part in the training exercise on Monday, September 14, 2026.
In a statement, the Ministry of Defence expressed its condolences to the families of the two personnel and offered prayers for the deceased.
The ministry did not provide further details about the circumstances of the incident.
