Washington DC: US President Donald Trump has insisted his relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu remains ‘very good,’ seeking to downplay rising diplomatic friction after the Israeli Prime Minister publicly rejected a US-led Gaza plan.
Netanyahu explicitly opposed the roadmap which proposed a gradual Israeli military pullback alongside Hamas disarmament under heavy pressure from far-right coalition partners ahead of Israel's October elections.
