SpaceX has completed its $60 billion acquisition of AI coding platform Cursor, marking one of the biggest deals in technology. Cursor, developed by Anysphere, uses artificial intelligence to help developers write, edit, debug and improve software. The acquisition gives Cursor access to SpaceX's vast computing resources as it develops more capable AI coding tools. Cursor said the partnership could accelerate AI development and reduce computing costs.

The deal also strengthens Elon Musk's growing AI ambitions, bringing advanced software capabilities closer to SpaceX's technology ecosystem. The acquisition highlights the rapidly growing competition to build powerful AI tools for developers worldwide.
