Qusra: Palestinian family in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra have been compelled to evacuate some of their houses after Israeli settlers surrounded them in a prolonged standoff.

The conflict began over the weekend when settlers blocked access to three Palestinian houses, erected a tent nearby, and prohibited occupants from entering or leaving. Palestinian households reported that water and electricity supplies had also been disconnected.

Israeli military eventually sent more troops to the village. The military stated that their involvement aimed to maintain security and deal with illegal settler activity. Soldiers took up positions in many Palestinian homes, and residents said several families were ordered to evacuate as the operation progressed.
