HM King Reviews Bilateral Ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telephone call from His Excellency General Joseph Aoun, President of Lebanon. They discussed the close relations between Bahrain and Lebanon and the strong bonds between their peoples.

The two leaders affirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic and political fields.

They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.

Religious Licences Issued

The Islamic Endowments Affairs Council has issued licences to all registered preachers and religious guides known to the relevant directorates, recognising their scholarly standing, experience and contributions to religious guidance and community service.

The licences were issued by specialised committees in line with approved requirements and regulations.

The relevant directorates will contact those concerned directly to provide them with their licences.

Bahrain Welcomes Syria Decision

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors’ adoption of a decision concerning Syria, which ended consideration of the item on implementing the safeguards agreement in the country.

Bahrain described the decision as a positive development reflecting progress in Syria’s transparent and responsible cooperation with international and regional organisations in accordance with international law.

The ministry also praised the Arab group’s efforts at the IAEA, led by Saudi Arabia, and reaffirmed Bahrain’s support for Syria’s national and constitutional institutions, unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its people’s aspirations for security, stability and prosperity.

SLRB Launches Fee Calculator

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) developed a digital real estate registration fee calculator to help customers estimate legally prescribed fees for property sale transactions before submitting applications.

Users can enter the property value on the SLRB website to instantly receive an indicative estimate, improving transparency and simplifying procedures.

The displayed amount remains subject to review and verification by the competent department, which will confirm the property value and applicable fees before payment and registration.
