Royal Guard initiative aims to build discipline, leadership and national values among youth

His Highness Maj. Gen. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations at the Royal Guard, attended the graduation ceremony of the second batch of the “Gadeha Junior” youth training camp at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The ceremony opened with the ringing of a bell, followed by the entry of 500 participants from a total of 2,000 applicants, and the playing of the national anthem.
During the event, HH Shaikh Khalid toured the camp and received a briefing from Organising Committee Chairman Ahmed Al Sheikh on the military training, challenges and activities provided to participants. He also toured the camp’s various training fields and facilities.
HH Shaikh Khalid expressed his pride in the participants’ commitment, discipline and strong sense of national spirit, praising the efforts of those responsible for organising and implementing the programme.
