Future of Fintech Forum 2026 set to bring global industry leaders

Global fintech leaders and decision-makers to explore innovation, challenges and investment opportunities in financial services

Bahrain is preparing to host the fourth edition of the Future of Fintech Forum 2026, a major regional gathering focused on financial technology and the future of financial services.

The two-day forum will take place on October 7-8, 2026, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. It is organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, with support from the Central Bank of Bahrain and Bahrain Fintech Bay, while Forbes Middle East will prepare the forum’s programme and agenda.

The event will bring together global thought leaders, financial services innovators and decision-makers to discuss key challenges facing the sector’s enabling environment and highlight investment opportunities supporting the growth of financial services in Bahrain, the region and global markets.

The 2026 edition builds on the forum’s growing reputation as a platform for collaboration, exchange of industry perspectives and leadership discussions aimed at advancing the financial technology sector.

Mohammed Al Alawi, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the Bahrain Economic Development Board, said the forum has strengthened its position as a prominent fintech event as it approaches its fourth edition.

He highlighted the continued dynamism of Bahrain’s financial services and technology ecosystem, as well as the support it receives from stakeholders working to develop the sector.

Al Alawi said this year’s forum will feature financial institutions and partners alongside thought leaders and CEOs from Bahrain, the region and international markets.

The forum is expected to provide a platform for participants to exchange views on the future of financial technology while exploring opportunities to further develop financial services and innovation.
