The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture has designated four public customer service centres and a remote service centre to provide municipal services to citizens, residents and investors.

The move is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve municipal services, make them more accessible and enhance the efficiency and quality of service delivery.

The four centres are located in Muharraq, A’ali, Hamad Town and Riffa, while the remote customer service centre can be reached on 17989898.

Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the reorganisation of customer service centres supports government efforts to improve services and enhance the customer experience.

He said the move will improve operational efficiency and make better use of available human and technical resources, while supporting economic and development activities in Bahrain.

Starting September 1, 2026, customers of the Capital Municipality will be able to complete their transactions and access municipal services through the four public centres.

The existing customer service centre at the Capital Municipality will stop receiving visitors from the same date.
