Community Initiative Supports Diabetic Children
Ten insulin pumps have been provided to children with diabetes as part of a community initiative aimed at supporting young patients and improving their quality of life.

The initiative was held in the presence of Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH) and Chairman of the Bahrain Diabetes Society, and Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, President of the Good Word Society.

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah commended the Good Word Society for its efforts and cooperation with the Bahrain Diabetes Society in providing the insulin pumps, noting their importance in helping children manage diabetes more effectively.

He also praised the Zakat and Charity Fund at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf for contributing insulin pumps, medical devices and glucose monitoring sensors for children with diabetes.

The initiative reflects the importance of community partnership in supporting children with diabetes and promoting the values of solidarity and giving in Bahraini society.
