Bahrain, US discuss security ties

Bahrain and the United States discussed ways to strengthen security cooperation and coordination during a meeting in Manama on Tuesday.

Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, in the presence of Police Chief Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, received Jeffrey Branigan, Special Agent in Charge for Northern California at Homeland Security Investigations, and US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephanie Hallett.

The meeting covered areas of mutual interest, including exchanging expertise and experiences and developing joint cooperation mechanisms to support security and stability.
